The silicone elastomer is a thermostable and inert material whose most important properties are the following:

• Excellent behaviour at extreme temperatures (-60ºC/+300ºC)
• Good dielectric properties
• Excellent thermal insulation
• Magnificent atoxicity for products in contact with food (FDA, BGA)
• Resistance to bad weather, ageing, ozone, moisture, UV rays, aggressive chemical components, radiation, etc.
• Ease to colour

Due to these characteristics, Silicone elastomers are used in the aerospace, railway, car, electricity, electronics, household appliance, construction, lighting and medical-surgery equipment sector.
